A moment please, while I compose myself.

My birthday weekend was incredible.  But I'm not ready to share it yet so you will have to wait another day or two to hear about it.

In the meantime, while you're waiting, you might like to do what I do - look up.  This picture was taken at the beginning of the week of the Victorian bush-fires.  We are close enough to the border and only 40 minutes from one big fire, to have had a our sky covered in smoke.  Even though it was a terribly real reminder of what was going on I couldn't help but be amazed at the beautiful hue it created and the way the sun caught the smoke and made it heavenly.
