3 days of (Joel) driving

And we're in Brisbane at last - since yesterday.

We arrived about 7pm, had dinner, chatted a little and got in the pool! How nice and relaxing after sitting in the car for 24 hours over three days!

Joel did an amazing job of driving us each day. I drove about a quarter of each day - no more because it was my first time driving our new car which is a manual and a little intimidating. And also because the roads were skinny and the trucks coming the other way were huge - I'm a scaredy cat! Oh, and concentrating is HARD! He is a star. I don't know how he did it but I'm incredibly grateful that he did.

Now we're just hanging out with parents while trying not to die of shock at the change in tempurature - no way would we have gone swimming in Adelaide this week!

Oh - I read Twighlight in les than a day - A.Maze.Ing!!!! Had to read it before seeing the movie. Now I can't wait to just read the rest of the books!! I miss the characters... is that weird? I don't think so...

  1. When are you coming home? Talk to you soon!

  2. Glad you have arrived safe! Have a blessed Christmas and see you in the new year! xxx

  3. I thought I was the only one to miss characters after finishing a book...

Merry Christmas!! No way you could swim in the snow we have up here either! ;)

  4. Back in Adelaide on the 9th of Jan. Already talked to you but I suppose we can talk again...!

Thanks Nell! Been thinking of you and praying for you as you start your holidays. Enjoy your pampering. xo

Effie - Oh! I miss them terribly! I'm glad you do that too. I just keep wondering what will happen in the next book and if I should re-read this one until I can read number 2! I wont though. Not yet. Hope you are having a wonderful white cold christmas while we try to enjoy our white hot one!

Thanks for taking the time to leave me a message. It's nice to know you were here!
