Ruffled Apron

For a special little girl... This was the good idea I had yesterday. I borrowed different ideas from different tutorials, made bits up and just cut it all to a size that will be too big now but perfect soon enough. I can't wait to give it to her! And maybe make one a a bit bigger for myself.

Not bad for an afternoon of sewing. What are you making at the moment?

  1. Rach, this is GORGEOUS!!! Both the photo and the apron! Whoever gets this is very very blessed to know you.

Also, if that yellow fabric's from spotlight, I just made curtains for our baby room with it :) Similar colour scheme, actually! Spotlight has some fantastic fabrics at the moment, huh?

And finally - there are quite a few books at work that make me think of you. Here they are (at a much cheaper price!):

The last is my favourite! I've flicked through all of these at work. The last two include the patterns and have SUPER simple ideas like Baby Bumpers, nappies, dresses, magazine holders etc. For $24 it's a VERY good investment...once Jordan recovers from the baby book package I ordered I'm going to sneak this one onto the credit card ;)

BusyB - I don't have any kids and yet I still get sucked into all the cute kids stuff! Must be even harder when you have your own kids. But fun!
